Although Charlie, a two-year-old Great Dane, wasn't trained as a service dog, he has taken on the responsibility to serve Brianna, the three-year-old daughter of his family who suffers from several forms of epileptic seizures. With no formal training, Charlie has developed the ability to sense Brianna's seizures coming up to 20 minutes in advance. Whenever he detects a seizure coming on, he will pin Brianna up against the wall until someone comes to help. The two adore each other, and Brianna has found her hero in Charlie.
