Photographer Andy Seliverstoff knows the magical connection humans share with their canines. That’s why he’s focused his photography career on capturing those beautiful moments that we share together. Seliverstoff’s book, ‘Little Kids and Their Big Dogs’, features 100 touching images showing the loving bond between young children and their enormous dogs.
The series of pictures shows breeds such as Great Danes and Newfoundlands towering over toddlers – highlighting their mutual love for each other.
Children no taller than 2ft are seen high-fiving their family pets, running alongside them and even riding their beloved dogs as if they were a horse.
“The main priority with these photos wasn’t just to make beautiful pictures, but to also show how children and their big dogs communicate and make contact with each other. The human aspects we ofter recognize in our dogs are, among other things, what makes us feel so close to them. And it is this aspect I try to express in my photography,” he says.
